I think it was filmed in New York .. and I'm not sure how the people in the audience got to be there. Maybe there was a special invitation

Cringeworthy comments Sorry but I must have slept through them ...

I have a question about storytellers

a thin guy wearing glasses, said he enjoyed "whistle down the wind"

i know "a kiss is a terrible thing to waste" came from it, but what is the actual musical about.

I only remember the tv film of whistle down the wind

Can anyone help

The musical is the same as the film (nearly)

Basically it is Louisiana in 1959.

Just before Xmas a group of children find a stranger hiding in their barn. He is an escaped convict but they think he is Jesus and help him to hide.

There is a bit more to it than that but that is the general gist and the old brain isn't working too hot tonight!!
