How did you get your user name?
I've seen some interesting user names, and it made me wonder where y'all come up with them?
As for me, well, I'm a native texan, something I would never change. |

Mine is from a Sam Shepard play:
"You gotta grab all the little broken-up, busted pieces of people's frustration...you gotta give it back to them bigger than life...you gotta be a rock'n'roll jesus with a cowboy mouth." Double meaning too...I am a huge fan of a band out of New Orleans called Cowboy Mouth.....definitely worth checking out! jo |

I can't remember where I heard this, but I heard that Bat translated into German is Fligermaus.Translate that back into English and you get Flying Mouse.I thought this was pretty cool so i picked it as my user name .
Since then i've found out that I was completly wrong.Fliegermaus isn't the German word for mouse . Luckily when Meat was on the Dottie, oh sorry, the Graham Norton show ,he mentioned that the word Fliegermaus is actually on the Russian edition of Bat.Lucky for me because i'd already been The Flying Mouse for too long and didn't want to change my name . |

I was inspired by Lost Boys And Golden Girls in 1994.
Then I found out that it was part of the lyrics of Midnight At The Lost And Found by chance... |

Flying Mouse sounds more like a mouse that got his butt kicked and therefore 's flying through the air - or as I've said somewhere before you could traslate this as flying chick. |

Mine's compliments of Tink and the family tree. I've worked on the tree for the last 27 or 28 years and a few years ago I came across a branch that went back to the 1620s in the early US colonies. One of those ancestors was descended from European royalty all over the place including Henry VIII (who was a cousin), Edward I (aka Longshanks and from 5 or 6 different children) and a whole bunch of others. Basicly, you name a country over there and I can trace to it somehow. Between a couple dozen Scottish, Irish, and English kings & queens and all the rest I lose track . . . But I'm way too far removed for any real titles anyway. Tink kind of nicknamed me Lady B for that reason.

Mine was the very first username I got when I got my first ever computer account when I started my first proper job, it's kind of stuck as a sign off on emails ever since....... I'm known by other names in other places and can't decide if I should ask R nicely to change it here as well, but then that may confuse some of you if I start wearing a disguise

Mine is the first user name I had on the computer. Went through several I really fancied especially Shells but they'd all gone. As we have a black cat who was sitting next to me at the time I tried that which was obviously taken. The dog was sitting behind me and he was nearly all black so tried black dog and that was free. When I joined this site I discovered that Meat Loaf had been in a film called Black Dog so it was an appropriate name any way. I must say you lot are all a lot nicer than they were on the other site. I had a few comments about rubbing my belly.

It should be Tukay Away, but I'm too lazy to type it!
I used to be Beef, then Beefburger, Beefy and then BeefCake. Then 2K, Tukay and finally tukayaway. Beef rhymes with Keith, and when you are 6, beefburger is a pretty good nickname! Then it was Beefy. I like Cricket, and I was an all-rounder like Ian Beefy Botham. Then Beef Cake as a parallel to Meat Loaf, and also a South Park reference. Then it was Tukay or 2K. My nickname needed bringing into the new millenium, so I became an upcoming R&B artiste. 2K because there are 2 K's in my initials. Then tukayaway. It was just funny when my mate said it when we playing some driving game. As I drove into the distance, he just came out with it, and it stuck. I seem to have more of a past than most |

RSG, RSG can mean a lot of things.
Well I thought of Rock Star Guy, but that was too long. And some people called me Rock, which I didn't care too much for. So I used Rock Star Guy's initials. RSG, it sounds good to me . I feel that someday, I just may be a RockStar Guy. I been setting my goals and being really determined, and I do things that will expand my goals. If I can't be this star, I will definetly be doing theatre. But If my goal comes true, I will try to balance my acting\singing career together. Sound familiar? No, I swear I ain't trying to copy anyone in particular. I just fancy Steinman's theatric work, and I fancy Meat's acting\sing. When two likes go together you can have a hell of a career. :P PS the only reason why I am now so determined in the things I believe in, is mainly because of the song DO IT! Definetly an insperation. |
