Who thinks Flying Mouse should perform on the 24th?
The question says it all really - a little impromptu tribute act before the main event?

awwwww shucks
You guys crack me up Only question is is of a sound system Carol and I are travelling by coach.I doubt the bar will have it's own sound system. But if anyone has a van and wan't to pick my rig up in Liverpool and take it to Wembley Alternativly, if they let us gate crash the arena there's bound to be a couple of mics on the stage . I like the idea though.Only problem is the rig . BTY, can we have another option in the poll that involves me doing nothing more than propping the bar up with a limitless suply of brandy and cigars |

Oh Yes, that would be fantastic, how about the arena bar then, you won't need a sound system

Well I can fit a couple of amps, speakers and mics in the boot of the car if you can get them to Manchester from Liverpool?
Failing that you'll just have to be The Flying Mouse.... Unplugged *edited to correct where I live - honestly I'd forget my own head the way things are at the moment |

Well Andy has been kind enough to offer us a lift to Wembley
We're just working out the logistics.SO FAR, so good. I've spoken to the manager of The ibis Hotel (Wembley) about it and... HE GAVE US THE GREEN LIGHT In fact as long as we don't go too over the top he's pretty enthusiastic about it . He even wants me to find out how many people are going in case we need extra bar staff Don't worry if your not staying at The Ibis, i've already asked the manager and non residents will be more than welcome . We're thinking of around 4.00/4.30. We could start off in the Ibis, then on to Wembley arena bar for another quick drink before the show. So, who's up for it? I blame you for this Andy |

Hee Hee.... I'll only take responsibility if I can have a managers 15%, plus a roadies 10% and then the drivers 10% cut of the door takings

Hmmmm that looked like three questions to me
Hotel Ibis Wembley Southway, Wembley, Middlesex, England, HA9 9BA Tel: 02084535100 Fax: 02084535110 Map here....... [url]http://www.multimap.com/p/browse.cgi?cat=hot&scale=50000&pc=HA9+9BA+[/url Parking shouldn't be a problem as it's only a short hop from the Arena, as for Kids, it's a hotel bar in the daytime so shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for posting the info Andy .
Andy and I just about managed to have a chat before Carol and I went to work.Fate on our side it seems The 4 o clock time was the managers sugestion. He mentioned the length of the show as half an hour, not perfect, but it is very good of him to allow us to perform at all as there are other residents to consider .Who knows, maybe we'll be allowed to go on a little bit more as we seem to have quite a crowd turning up i'm gonna try and speak to the hotel manager before we leave this morning to get a set in stone time for the show.Unless you hear different, it will be 4:00-4:30.I'll try and confirm that all the same as soon as I can. Carol and I are really excited about this. It's the first time anyone from any of the fan clubs has seen us perform.I don't mind admitting we're nervous as hell In fact we both didn't get much sleep last night because of the excitment of the prospect of performing for you guys .I can honestly say I haven't been so nervous about a show in a VERY long time (for a guy who virtually never get's nervous about a show, that's saying something). Thankfully we were on top form tonight. We sang plenty of Meat songs to have a good renersal for tomorrow. I was VERY happy with the sound . Now if we can just get through the next 24 hrs without colapsing from lack of sleep, I think we're gonna have a real show for you . Don't forget, non residents more than welcome to come along. We'd love to see you all there. Rock on, and we'll see you at the bar. Neil & Carol P.S.Thanks again to Andy, without whome non of this would be going on. |
