Who's from Yorkshire?
It is well known that Yorkshire is the centre of the known Universe and is commonly called 'God's Own County', so I was just wondering who here is actually from Yorkshire?

Before we all get heated up with the Lancashire/Yorkshire debate just remember
Nobody is perfect - but being from Yorkshire is as close as you are ever gonna get!!!! Hafta confess i am a true Tyke, Born in Halifax, lived all my life there and now work there in newsagents in Greetland, Brighouse and Huddersfield!! I live fairly near the border with Lancashire (not quite in the badlands of Todmorden) but we are one of the first lines of defence against the Lancastrian Hordes who come rampaging over the border ever summer to rape our sheep, pillage our womena nd try and beat us by an innings and a half!!! How amny people fancy a campaign to rewrite Meat's song Took the words? I am thinking maybe On a hot summer night Would you offer your throat to the wolf with the WHITE roses? |

Have you noticed how quiet it is from our friends in Lancashire, mind you they are a little under-privileged.
Someone told me there's a sign outside Bolton Infirmary which says "Dogs operate in this hospital". Staff shortages......? Are any of you good Yorkshire folk off to Sheffield on 29 January? mike |
