Bat 2 reissue released Today !

Hi ladies and gentlemen

just wanted to tell you that "Bat 2 reissue" is out. Is has many different versions of the hits songs plus more. I am getting it tommorow.

I asked in the lokal Cd shop. And they didn't knew about it. They say there is a Cd releaded in the USA, but not in Europe.

So i'm very pissed. Maybe next month it's coming here. But for now, nothing. I think i must order it by internet orso.

I'm not sure how this topic got under the Testify forum?

However I’m not convinced we are missing out by not being able to buy it. Do we really want to pay quite a lot of money just for a second CD which contains shorter edits of the same songs?

In my opinion this is a poor release – the words “rip-off” spring to my mind?

It could have been so much better – for example they could have put live versions of many of the Bat Out of Hell 2 tracks on the second CD

Let's be fair - they're just cashing in on the "remix" culture".......bit like (e.g.) Steps and 4 versions of the same ABBA cover on the same CD. This one is for anoraks who like their sound source to be 3 degrees to the left of the existing live/studio versions and approximately 2.3dB louder!
