I'm proud to say I've never watched one, and don't have any plans to. Life is all the reality I need

Can't stand them generally, although I have read that John Lydon (Johnny Rotten to the lay folk) has been confirmed for that I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here thing in the U.K., might watch that. . .it'd be quite hilarious.

Survivor was good.
The Mole was more of game show, and that was pretty cool.

The rest were like crap, if you ask me. I don't like most of them.

I agree RG .. in that the contestants were genuinely having to survive using their wits .. rather than trash like Big Brother where they seem to be trying to survive the boredom of being confined in a house with a number of people with no wits at all! Nor did they have meals winched in to them every day as I'm told they did in the I'm A Celebrity .. Get Me Out of Here (Oh yes .. please do let's get them all out asap!!) And now there are the "swop" programmes. "Back to the floor" was interesting and had a purpose .. swopping wives, homes, bosses and all the other daft permutations have no value either as informing or entertaining.

I object to most of these "reality" shows because they are tedious, pander to people's desire to do anything ridiculous to secure their few months of fame, are cheap TV because they are largely financed by getting people to phone in, and do nothing to stretch our imaginations or senses. Take away the "reality" shows and the ghastly things like Tricia, Kilroy Silk (thank the Lord he's disgraced himself . but another bus will come along behind that one!) and Springer .. and you'd have acres of programming to fill .. which only goes to show what a load of nonsense they're filling time with imo.

They did the old Pro-celebrity combos to death .. after Pro Celeb Fishing I was just waiting for Pro Celeb Paint By Numbers .. but the "reality" rubbish shows no sign of halting sadly. Just waiting for one where Rolf Harris has one hand up a dog's bum, and the other employed sketching a cheery chippy as he builds something execrable in MDF to be fitted in a house whose garden has been devastated by that daft Irish gardener, and which will be sold at auction to a group of couples whio have swopped children wanting to relocate!!

I call my addiction to reality shows my "secret shame"- I know they are trash but I still enjoy the heck out of them! The ones that I watch (all American, natch) are:
Real World
Road Rules
Real World/Road Rules Challenge
Osbournes
Surreal Life
American Idol
Survivor
Average Joe
Cupid
Big Brother
Who Wants to Marry My Dad?
Last Comic Standing

Oy, if I watch any more I may need to move to a trailer park!

I think they should make a reality TV program where each TV company makes a reality TV program and every week the viewers would vote one off the air

I liked Survivor and now they show Finnish Robinson on TV. (Itīs same kind of show than Survivor was.) And I mean SHOW. Shows are pretty stupid but people still wathcing those TV-shows īcause they want to see how people going to treat others in hard enviroment.
