Horse Meat.
Grand National day
Two things happen at thiis time of year. 1.The sale of silly hats rockets . 2.I have my annual £1 bet on the horsies I have a verry scientiific aproach to picking a horse out. First I research how the horse has performed in previous years. Then I look at the weather forcast so I can judge which horses have performed best on wet/dry ground. Then I check to see who is the trainer and jockey and research their careers. Then I thhrow all those notes in the bin and go for the horse with a name I like But this year is different. I'm betting my £1 on a horse because of who it's owned by. Al Capone owned by A M Daly. Now I haven't got a clue who A M Daly is but his name is an annagram of M L Aday. That's got to be a lucky omen So what horses are people backing, and any particular reason why? |

Well the office sweepstake has given me Skycab at 150/1 so that's a guaranteed faller at the first fence
Personal picks would be.... Bear On Board which with a trainer called A King has to be a good punt at 10/1 or Kingsmark at 50/1 with a name like that how can it fail? and for pure comedy value Wonder Weasel at 150/1 has to be the best name to pick |

I got the winner!!!!!!
Sadly I have been queued out all day so never got chance to run round the bookies to put it on. Sad really as my customary fiver each way would have netted £110 if i had put on this morning at 16-1. |
