Default Party at the Bellfry anyone?

In honor of the upcoming 130th Run for the Roses (otherwise known as the Kentucky Derby) how about we have a Derby Party at the Bellfry?

The Derby is always on the 1st Saturday in May, which this year is May 1. The actual race starts somewhere around 6:30 pm, but the parties start early and go late. This town goes absolutely nuts over Derby. In fact, there are parties and events (fireworks, bed races, steamboat races, hot air balloon races, parade, etc.) for the 2 weeks before.

As far as when to have the party, I'll leave that up to you. I'm not sure what the time difference is anymore, since we set our clocks forward an hour last weekend. If anyone is interested, I can post the info on horses, jockeys, etc. as soon as the field is set. That way, we can pick our horses. Let's have some fun with this uniquely Kentucky tradition!
