In the last 10 years this is the one of the greatest succes in the Hungarian football. I can't believe it. It was a friendly match, the last match of Germany before the European Cup. And Hungary wnet there with a B-team. Well...

The "Media Markt" ( a german chain who sells CDs, DVDs, PCs, all kind of electronical household aids,...) had some kind of "special sale" on June,1st:
everybody who buys a TV on that day gets his money back IF the German teams wins the european soccer/footbal championship. That says all, they won't risk loosing so much money when there would be any chance for the germans to win the Championship. |

In all fairness that was just one result and it didnt mean anything well thats just me but beating germany was a big achivment but an embarestment for germany having somr of the best players in the world like Khan and Ballak even if thay r over paid well done Hungary and good look ENGLAND

Yes. In 1986 we won against Brazil for 3:0. Since then Hungary has not won against a good team... And Lothar Matthaus will stay like coach...
