Tommy Vance
I'm sure many of you will like myself, be saddened by the news of the passing of Tommy Vance - he passed away this morning in hospital, three days after suffering a stroke.

Did you know his real name was Richard Anthony Crispian Francis Prue Hope-West He was dj-ing on an American station when a heavily trailed DJ called Tommy Vance failed to show for his debut show - rick was asked to pretend to be this other guy adn was so successful it stuck. I bet somewhere up there, him adn John peel will be DJ-ing pone hell of a great disco!
