Just been reading an article (that can be read HERE) about the new villain in the upcoming James Bond movie and it mentions Meat Loaf was lined up for the role of Renard in "The World Is Not Enough", but he mouthed off to the press about his future too early and subsequently lost the part to Robert Carlyle.
I don't know about anyone else but I can't see Meat Loaf playing that part at all. Pud ![]() |

I think it goes without saying it would have been totally different. I haven't seen many of Meat's movies, only 51st state, Fight Club, and Rocky Horror, but he often (to me) seems to play very flamboyant OTT characters. Saying that, his Bob in Fight Club was superb.
I don't see why he couldn't, but I have no idea whether it would work in the new more serious ones??? |
