meat loaf - somebody loves me
the Glory of Gershwin released 1994 on Mercury Records
Meat evidently sang the above song - anybody know anything about this, any information would be gratefuly received..... Is it out there somewhere to download or can I just listen to it? thanks dottie xxx |

It's a compilation album of George Gershwin songs performed by the late Larry Adler in celebration of his 80th birthday. Each track features a different celebrity vocalist. Besides Meat there are tracks by Jon Bon Jovi, Cher, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Elton John & Kate Bush ... to name a few.
I also remember seeing a TV programme ... South Bank Show? ... about the making of the album and there was a short clip of Meat in the studio with, (if my memory isn't completely shot! ), the legendary George Martin who produced the album.
