Live DVD Requested
CHSIB wourld tour will hopefully bring a live DVD, the one thing that is missing for Meatmaniacs so far.
Let`s face it: Storytellers-DVD lacks the energy of a reall concert. And all these sterile stuff from Bat II (Florida, Bat II Picture Show) or WTTN (Beacon) have only been Meat Loaf by numbers compared to the regular tour shows. The last available reall live event is the Bad Attitude video. And there is nothing official from the two tours that were even more over-the-top than the others IMO (10th anniversary and Bat II tours). If CHSIB and tour are successfull there will be public demand and hopefully Meats and his labels will to tape one of the regular tour dates this time!! |

I miss an options combination here, eg. Live show & Videos.
Add that to your poll and you get my vote. R. |

Video-clips usually come as bonus features with live videos these days,

How about a double DVD set .
Disc 1 could have the video's of the singles and interviews. Disc 2 could be live material. I not sure weather I would prefare the live disc to be one interupted show,or a compilation of CHSIB tour shows like Live Around The World. With a compilation, there is more chance that there will be a song from a concert that you attended . Either way,the more Meat Loaf video's/DVD's available the better. The amount available now is terrible . |

Great Idea!!
But i do think that a real Live Concert is better, with an extra disk of vids, interviews, behind the stage, fun things.... etc. |

It is great to see one interupted concert.
It would just be amazing to have a live performance on video,DVD or CD where I could say I was at that show. Incidently, has anybody got an unofficial recording of Meat's show at the King's Dock Liverpool last year?It was the first time I was able to see Meat live and i'd love a recording of it. I've said it before and i'll say it again,I wish every concert could be recorded and sold through the fan clubs (at a premium if neccesery). But maybe i'm just a dreamer . |

Uninterrupted Live video and DVD
I would like to see an unedited/uncut live video and dvd of a concert, including the between-song goings on. By this, I mean a video of a concert uncut from the time he walks on the stage until he walks off (AFTER the encore if there is one).
For those of us who don't get to see Meat very much (or at all), a concert video is the next best thing. One of my other favourite bands, No Doubt, has such a thing and I enjoy it very much (athough I wish there were more). Other things that would be nice include CHSIB being an `enhanced' CD, with behind the scenes of the making of the album (as it happens). If this hasn't already been done, it would be too late though, although it wouldn't be too late for the future singles to be enhanced CDs showing `behind the scenes' stuff for the making of the promo videos. Again, No Doubt have done these things, and they are very enjoyable to watch. |
