Default 1. Jim - Yvonne Elliman: Happy Ending

Well, I think we should start Jim's album songs. The musicals will be later!

1. Yvonne Elliman - Happy Ending (?)

Anybody was listening it?
I know just about Yvonne that she was playing Maria Magdalena in Jesus Christ Superstar's movie version and she performed "If I Can't Have You", a disco song. Her voice is good but I can't get Happy Ending.
Anybody?

A very nice ballad. To me there is nothing in the song which makes me think oh yeah this is a Steinman song. However Yvonne has a good voice and though it is nothing special it is very pleasant to listen to.

Song is on her still available CD "Food of Love"

This is the first song ever recorded by Jim Steinman. Elliman also played in Jezus Christ Superstar. Jut like Ted Neeley!! And Neeley did a lot of backgrond vocals for ML and JS. And guess who wrote Jezus nChrist Superstar? Andrew Webber!! It is such a small world!!! It is from the late sixties. You can here the song on a site, but i do not know if it is allowed if i mention the site here. So who's next?

I do not want links to copyrighted material anywhere on these forums. Period. No discussion.

It seems that you made a lot of post before you registered with us.
If you want and if I'm in the right mood I'll assign all guest posts to your new account which increases your post count.

Hi Bart.
It has something to do with copyrighted material.R. has mentioned this in detail on various topics.
I think what Michel meant, was that R. may be able to credit your posts made as a guest to your membership account.
This would increase your total posts, and if there were enough, your status.
I don'k know if that's possible,but it's a good idea.
Hope that clears it up .
