Default Meat Loaf will play in Dover

Meat is scheduled to play in Dover at the Tom's River Fest according to this article in the Asbury Park Press on July 28, 2006. I sure wish that I could be there but alas Florida is along way from Jersey.

DOVER TOWNSHIP — Classic rocker Meat Loaf will top the bill at Day 2 of Toms River Fest, performing on the main stage at 7:30 p.m. July 28.

Reserved seat tickets for the Meat Loaf show range in price from $40 to $75, depending on location. The tickets give patrons a reserved seat for the show, as well as admission to all other festival concerts and activities for the day.

General admission tickets are $25 for adults; $15 for children. The general admission ticket includes lawn seating for the Meat Loaf concert and also gives admission to all other festival activities.

Tickets for Meat Loaf and other performers at the second Toms River Fest are available online through www.ticketmaster.com, or www.trfest.com, or by calling Ticketmaster at (215) 336-2000.

Tickets also can be purchased at the box office, located in the Toms River Regional school district's administration building, 1144 Hooper Ave. Box office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Meat Loaf is best known for his 1977 album, "Bat Out of Hell," which sold 30 million copies worldwide and contained such hits as "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad," "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth" and "Paradise By the Dashboard Light."

Toms River Fest will be held July 27, 28, 29 and 30 on the campus of Toms River High School North, 1245 Old Freehold Road. Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. July 27; 2 to 10 p.m. July 28, and noon to 10 p.m. July 29 and July 30.

Other concerts and activities planned for the weekend at Toms River Fest are "KC's Boogie Blast," featuring KC & the Sunshine Band, Gloria Gaynor, Tavares and Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge; Rick Springfield; Hilary Duff; Rihanna; Martina McBride with Leann Rimes; Dorothy the Dinosaur's Dance Party; free amusement rides; nightly fireworks, and a BMX Stunt Show.
