I'm going to see if I can improve on how much I saw on TV during the last World Cup..... I inadvertantly walked into the living room when one of the matches was on last time, so caught a glimpse of it for a few seconds. This time round, I have absolutely no intention of watching even a second of it. Bores me rigid.

Germany won't win. Not a hope to be honest.
Personally I thing Sven might be in with a chance this year but i am abit surprised by some of his choices. Picking an unknown like Theo Walcott is a bit of gamble to my mind. After all, Walcott has another 3 world cups in him yet.
Still, we shall see.
Incidentally, i shall be watching the England matches in our local pub alongside one of the winners of the 1966 World Cup.

Germany wonīt got Kahn as keeper, itīll be Lehmann (I think even people from england know him )
But I think Kahn is the better cup-keeper.
We got somebody from Borussia Dortmund who has never been to a cup before.
But I think Germany will win in the opening match, and in EVERY other match too.

But Kahn was dropped for letting too many goals in.
(Have Adidas still got the great big Kahn billboard over the autobahn on the approach from the airport!)

IMO Kahn is better than Lehmann.
Sure, he wasnīt in such a good shape the last time, but heīs such a player who grows in the time of a big cup. Think of WC (stupid abbrev. I know) 2002.

Wayne Rooney has said that he'll play in the world cup for England if he gets a Cortizone Injection ... David Beckham has said that he's not going to play unless he gets a new car as well.
