Not sure about the 3rd place match. I can't believe they still do that match. Everybody will be so demotivated and basically not give a shit so. Holland could have easily won that 3rd place match back in 98 but they didn't cuz they couldn't care less.

What a great game, the result was great as well. First half Italy's second half Germany's, extra time was even but Italy had the lucky break right at the end.

Poor Jurgen, the way he was treating thos water bottles I'm surprised he didn't have an heart attack.

Has to be the best game of the tournament so far, based on what I've seen a France Italy final should be interesting to watch ... commiserations to the German team and supporters ... but know you know what it's like to be knocked out of the tournament you're hosting by some footballing neighbours

i'm sorry that germany did not make it, i was hoping they would. To be honest i hope that portugal loses, because of the match with the Netherlands. They both deserved to be send home. I'm still angry about the behavour on the field. Take a picture with: say no to racisme, and than start a battle on the field.

But you did your best and I´m sure you will (at least try to) beat Portugal in the 3rd place game! But we just had to win!! So don´t feel sad, just celebrate together about the final GER:FRA, (which Germany wins, too , of course!)
