R., I can both link pictures from the web and upload them from my hard drive here.
Yesterday, for the first time I've noticed that when I imbed the URL from the web picture shows up when I post and I can see it but after a little while it disappears as if it was removed from the original website. When I go back to that website the picture is still there and URL for it is still the same. SO...the only way to upload pictures lately for me was to save them to my hard drive and upload them from there. Not sure whether it's something here or is it me. |

Hotlinking.
Not all sites like you to link to their images as it costs them money to host them adn provide bandwidth for others to view them. It is fairly common if you notice heavy traffic to one pic on your site to simply block the linking site. Best option would be to upload the image to either ourselves or imageshack using the links on the new post page. |

However, you're right and this is what I've started doing - saving pics to hard drive and uploading them. Not sure though of one thing - if I delete pics from my hard drive eventually, they will stay here, right? Cause they are already uploaded??? |

Angelfire are very hot on blocking hotlinks.
And yes, as soon as you have uploaded it, you can delete it from the hard drive. |
