Thank you Meat for the Premiere party in New York and a night I'll never forget !!

Thank you Wezzie and Virgin records for the contest, Kathy for allowing me to be her guest when she was chosen one of the lucky winners. And thank you for Cindyk for the excellent photogragh !!

But most of all, thank you Meat for allowing us to share the special evening with you and taking a few minutes to talk to us after it was over

I'll be posting my review of the night and some pics as soon as I can get my thoughts together. But right now I just have to share this special story and photograph with everybody

The party broke up at 9:00, and they cleard everybody out of the club. Meat was still giving interviews backstage, so a group of us decided to wait by the limosuine until he came out.

I figured what the heck .. I had rented a private car for the night (since I wasn't familiar with New York) and they weren't supposed to be back until 9:45 to pick me up.

While were were waiting, at about 9:15, I saw a man standing on the corner, looking down the street as if he was waiting for somebody. It turns out it was the guy waiting to pick me up !! He was parked in front of the building, and I was standing down on the side street.

He came walking over, and said "are you Vicki ?" I said yes, but I told him we were waiting for Meat to come out any minute, and asked if we could wait. He said no problem .. he's a big Meat fan, and wanted to see Meat himself

So he went back, turned the engine off, locked the car, and stood there waiting for me.

I passed a big limosuine parked on the corner, and I asked the guy if he was Meat's limo driver ... he smiled and said, yes, that Meat was on his way out right where we were waiting

I went back to the group and told them about seeing my driver, and they thought the guy on the corner (Meat's limo driver) was actually waiting for me ..

I felt like such a celebrity !!

Meat came walking out the door, and Kathy went down to greet him

She was talking to him while they were walking up to where the rest of us were waiting ... when Meat came up to me, I walked up and gave him a hug, telling him how great the new CD is, and thanked him for letting us be a part of the big event

He smiled and thanked me. When he was standing next to me, I told him much I liked his "new look" .... I asked if he was going for a new look and he just laughed, saying yeah .. he guess he did because he did look a little bit different.

I had asked Cindyk earlier, if the opportunity came up, could she take a picture of Meat and I together. So when I saw her standing in the group, I handed her my camera, and asked if she would take our picture while Meat was standing right next to me. She got his attention, and took this picture for me :

The perfect end to a perfect night !!!
After the picture Meat said goodbye to all of us and got into his limo .... my driver was waiting for me, so I jokingly told everybody that I guessed it was time for me get into my limo and leave too .. lol They were teasing me, and somebody said that I should have shared the limo ride with Meat.

I'll go through the rest of my pics and see what I can find. Meat looked so wonderful tonight that the pics just don't do him justice. Except the one above that is

Glad everyone had a great time, sounds like one of those once in a lifetime experiences.

Just out of curiosity, did they give out any form of promo packs to the guests?
