hi, im a new member in this forum and i was wondering if somebody can help me by telling me how to upload a picture of my own on to my profile. its says about putting in the URL?? whats that?

think you have to put the picture somewhere, on your computer or the web, and give the URL, the link: like http://www.bladiebladie.com/pic.jpg
(euh, this link is not working, just to give you an idea!!) or maybe like this: c:\windows\pic1.jpg |

Avatar uploads are disabled. Upload your picture to some other webspace and specify this URL as your remote avatar.

If you want to choose your own avatar instead of the default ones, you first have to upload the pic to your own webspace. (and you have to watch the size, it can't be more than 100 x 100 pixels I believe). Then you go to "profile", you check there "I have my own avatar" and there you refere to your webspace and the pic on it.
