One of my fabulous forum friends made a CD for me years ago with this song on - absolutely awesome track, I'd certainly recommend it

thanks carl!

The songs is great, without a doubt, but I find it a little weird that one single woman of Bonnie´s age is singing a duet of teenagers......

still prefer the original version tho

I wanna show you what I want you to do.
Where and when and how.
I want it bad and I want it now.

Love that bit!

Argh! It was at the RAH! Glad there weren't any of those huge sweeping shots of the place or I would have cried like I nearly did yesterday when I saw it on the telly. It looked so beautiful yet there's not gonna be a DVD!

I love Whistle Down The Wind, I only got the chance to see it once and that was like the first day it opened in London this time. Now it's gone... Shame because it's a good play.

Apparently WDTW was one of the first musicals that began it's UK tour at my local theatre, the Sunderland Empire Theatre after the theatre had gone through a bad patch, was threatened with closure, but then was bought by Live Nation, and afterwards found itself a new lease of life!!! How great is that?! I never knew until I saw a feature article on the Empire in the local paper a couple of weeks ago. Thank you Jimmy for inadvertently helping our beautiful theatre get back on its feet!

Oh, and I suppose ALW had a small part to play in it, too!
