It'll just be an airing of the "Live" CD surely? Sounds about the same,

Well it does say it's one of two shows that was later mixed to the cd so maybe this is the full show?
Probably not. Any idea when it's on? |

Wow, Midnight sounds as if it comes from outer space! LOL.
I absolutely love the extended intro to Bat (what an amazing version by the way). Fantastic hearing these loud chords just before Meat starts singing. Ashame Both of us fades out towards the end and that there are no more songs, but still great music! Great stuff! Thanks Dave. Meat should seriously consider releasing some kind of live archive box set (much more than Live around the world - perhaps 4-5 full shows or so from different eras?). This stuff is just too good not to be in the record shops IMO!!! Last edited by AndrewG; 05 Nov 2006 at 01:51. |

After hearing Midnight At The Lost And Found & I'm Gonna Love Her For Both Of Us sung live, I wish Meat would change his setlists more often and sing some of his other classsics.

I agree with that Pud, but after hearing Meat live at Rah and reading great reviews from the NYC show, I must say his current setlist is pretty good and I can't see how he could change it a lot. Certainly the second set is something most people everywhere would like to hear I reckon (Monster, BFG, Broke, BAAB And Bat). IMO: maybe he could however think about replacing Broke with a different Bat 3 song each night and also Lemon in the encore with something like Midnight, love her for both of us or another long forgotten classic (even some of the CHSIB stuff ie CHSIB, DIST and the brilliant Testify should maybe come back at some point). Mixing the set up with 2 different songs most nights would really want me to see a LOT more shows. With so many shows on the horizon I hope it's something Meat will consider doing.

Trouble is, Meat is only gonna play songs from the BAT albums this time, but I agree there are certainly many songs from those albums which could be added and alternated in the setlist.

This recording is from 1983 not 1987, I have a bootleg version of the full show. think about it,can you hear the goffs on there? does it sound like the 1987 cd version and Im gonna love her for both of us wasn't performed on that tour.
Very good performance though! - the band sound tight and meats voice isn't bad, well done for posting this. Last edited by Renegade Angel; 05 Nov 2006 at 15:45. |

fail to differ on the year 1983!!!, it was the period 85 or 87.
He did sing Gonna love her for both of us on Birmingham set 87, meat changed his setlists sometimes in the eighties!!! |

I'll put my house on it, that is the same show I have on bootleg from 1983, listen to the style of the songs, they are totally different from the wembley 1987 show, especially MATLAF. I have loads of shows from each period of meats career and I know which tour is which by the style that the songs are played. trust me Im a doctors assistant!!
