What we've bought off Ebay LOL
Ok, it doesn't have to be Meat related but lets keep it to the weird and wonderful!!!!!
My latest Ebay additions A carrier bag (this is really sounding sad now) And a tin containing bat shaped candy!!!!!! I've managed to get two of these but dont tell Samcat as one of them's a Christmas present lol These were given out in select stores in America on the day of release to promote Bat3. And if you all wish you had one you really should be as sad as me and spend ages trolling through Ebay __________________ Last edited by Monstro; 28 Nov 2006 at 02:16. |

I want a Meat Loaf carrier bag!
It must be genetic: me and Mam collect carriers, but I collect nice ones and she colelcts them to put the rubbish in. off top of my head I have Chitty Chitty Bang Bang We Will Rock You Harrods Houses of Parliament The Beatles Museum Guess Hard Rock Cafe San Francisco Can't think of any others.... anyway, back on topic! Bought AFL 7" single from there last week, hasn't come yet, but it is coming from Denver! Might also get an ipod from there if it's cheaper and Mam will let me! Also bought Lord of the Rings ring from there couple of years ago. EDIT: PS: how much was the Meat Loaf carrier bag?! |

No they don't. I once looked for a stuffed guinea pig that was filled with chocolate M&M's and they didn't have one listed and never have as far as I'm aware. And I also tried to buy so toe-nails clippings from the original dog that played Lassie, and they didn't have any of them either. However, they did have a complete set of Smurf's listed once but I got outbid
I've bought too many things off Ebay to list them all, but needless to say there's not much left that's Meat or Jim related that I'm looking for. I'm a collector not a hoarder. Pud |

My best purchase was the Bat II baseball jacket which was given out by Virgin to celebrate the success of Bat II, an absolute bargain considering you couldn't buy a normal jacket in the high street for what I paid for it

I've bought a ton of things off ebay - too many to list - some Meat related - most not. I love it because I can sit down and type in exactly what I'm looking for and not have to drive all over looking for it in my size, etc. and I can usually get it for less than I'd pay elsewhere including shipping. I've bought quite a fair share of clothing for myself and I have to say that I find I get more compliments on the stuff I wear that I got on Ebay than anything else I own.
Although I was a bit miffed that Monstro got that bag and tin he started the thread with - I was the one bidding against him, lol. He's just lucky that I wasn't home at the end of the auction and had to put in a high bid and hope it didn't go for more - otherwise he might not have been so lucky, lol. |

The best thing I bought from eBay was a book I used to have as a small child called "Ned the Lonely Donkey". I searched high and low for it in book shops because I wanted my kids to read it when they were little too. Never found it then one day, had a bright idea . Get it on eBay. So I did.

I've bought a considerable amount of Meat Loaf related things of Ebay, over the last few yrs, my most coveted item...
The prosthetic "Genie ears", that Meat actually wore (not the copies, you can sometimes buy there) when filming the Rock & Roll Dreams, video. I paid a small fortune for them, but I just HAD to have them, as you can see why, if you just look at my avatar and sig. They are framed in a shadow box, along with the COA, and hang proudly on a wall in my mini ML museum, along with some other Meaty treasures. J. |
