A Fanmade Music Video
I just finished this and posted it on You Tube...It's a video based off of the offical music video for "The Monster is Loose" using only Bat album music videos. My favorite section is for Bat 2. Let me know what you think!

thank you very much! Yes...I also like Peter DeLuise. That's where I got my user name from the "role" he played along side Johnny Depp on the tv show "21 Jump Street". One of his undercover characters was one half of the McQuaid Brothers.
I love my avatar too...I've made a few graphics of Meat recently (I still need to post them on my LiveJournal though!) Katy |

Peter DeLuise was Officer Doug Penhall in the 1987 series 21 Jump Street along side Johnny Depp (Officer Tom Hanson) and he's not only adorable he's so funny too. In her averta it's a baby Peter and I think he's so adorable... He still is but go figure .
Hope that help's Zina. |

Confusion! The avatar is Meat as a kid, but I've also made some videos and graphics of Peter.

Sorry kind of went on a Peter DeLuise tangent for awhile!
Back on topic. Agreed. The video is amazing! I love how you meshed it because it truly works. |

And just think, you Meat every day and you didn't recognise him
BACK ON TOPIC: The video itself was OK, not fantastic but OK, a bit too similar to the other TMIL video that Meats record company brought out. Pud |

Pudding, that was kind of the point...only more simple and only using Bat videos. I do agree that the official video is way better and something I couldn't measure up to making.

I found the beginning kind of weak...but then you did some interesting stuff with matching videos of different songs to the lyrics of Monster Is Loose...good effort...

Thanks for your imput...On the matching lyrics comment, that's my favorite part of making videos. I hate watching fan vids that just throw together clips to a song and don't take the time to at least pay attention to the beats. This is why my favorite part is Bat 2 in this one.

A little encouragement would be nice.
I think the attempt was a good one, it's certainly something I can't do so I am in awe of this. The first bit was good constructive critisizam but then you ruined it with the second paragraph. |

I don't mind you giving your opinion, Pudding, but I feel you are being rude. I have done many fan music videos and this one was my longest at 7 minutes. I thought this video achieved what I wanted it to.

I was being honest and encouraging and then gave an opinion on what I'd like to see i.e. an original piece. Anyone can cut and paste video's or images together and put music to it by using something like Windows Movie Maker, especially when it's based on somebody else's work. But where's the originality? How much more encouragement do you want when you get somebody asking you to go away and make another video but using an original idea? Pud Last edited by Chris; 05 Dec 2006 at 07:51.
