Only cover I'm aware of is by a German group called "Jam Tronik". They did a dance version of AFL.

Sarah Geronimo did a cover of it. She also did a cover of It's All Coming Back To Me Now, but I haven't heard either.

I hadn't until someone asked the same question on another board a little while ago, and someone gave her as an answer. I just did a google search and found some sites that mention it.

Crikey, where to begin.

Prefecto
Jam Tronik (already mentioned)
Mandingo
Vox Mystica
Magna Carta
Oro Negro
Royal Philharmonic
Sarah Geronimo (already mentioned)

They're just off the top of my head, so there could be more.

I reckon a Jim-produced Celine Dion version of the song would be about as good as the original.

Nope.

I don't think so, anyway. On IACBTMN she's trying too hard to sound like Celine (I don't like Celine) and AFL is just... weird... Very s-l-o-w.

There's some guy in Japan who did a pretty lame cover, (there were lots of mobile phones in it, presumably receiving text messages saying "I Love You" ) can't remember said 'guy's' name but I think there was a video on YouTube. There's a German band that did a cover too, Sellotape I think the name was, pretty good as I recall. Other than Sarah Geronimo and The Dream Engine in their early incarnation in '05, I can't think of any others.

I can't imagine there's many who would dare it, imho...

Sarah Washington (I'm pretty sure it was her anyhow) did a cover of IDAFL. It was a dancey version. Round about '94 I think. Not very good as I recall.

DJ Krissy (whoever the Hell she is) Does a cover of AFL as well. It's another Dance version and is mutilated to death. I've heard her version and perfecto's version. Who the Hell do those stupid Teenypopper adolescents think they are taking someone else's work and changing bits and pieces of it? Anything For Love is not a dance song!! Never was! Never should be! And it's supposed to be a duet about someone who would do anything for love and the one he loves has doubts which he denies in the end. Those idiots made it into just a bland dance song! Is there any covers of it that stick to the way it should be, a power balled duet not a teenypobber dance track! (This opinion is just based on those girly dance versions. "Musicians" who are that stupid tick me off.)
