Default ROCK"N ROLL HERO CD

I just got this rock'n roll hero cd from FYE and it's BA songs seem a bit remixed.

are these the British versions of them? for i know surf's up has a dance beat intermixed in the British version.

Surf's up doesn't have a dance beat. It has more drums, but nothing that could be called a dance beat. And yes, they're the European mixes of the songs.

I have a different version that I used to see in multiple stores all the time. You mean the "Hero" CD is a bootleg?? It has to be the most well-packaged and well-distributed bootleg CD ever if that is the case. I thought it was probably one of those things where someone gets rights to make compilations of various performers but do so legitimately.

It's not a bootleg as such, just one of the many compilation CDs out there where the artist themselves get little or no royalties from it.

Oh I see. I couldn't see an actual bootleg being carried in the places I had seen it. I find it curious that Meat has a problem signing it if it is a legitimate release but that's his call. The cover that looks like a painting would look great signed and as a fan we have no control over what deals are behind items sold in the shops.
